OLA CAB

10:35am, today morning, Chandhigarh station. I have booked OLA CAB, called driver, 

Me:- Hello ! 

Driver:- Good morning Sir ! Thanks for booking Ola. Where are you ? 

Me:- Good morning ! I am standing in front of Chandhigarh  Railway station. 

Driver:- Okay. I will be there in five minutes. 

I was surprised by the response of the driver. The ascent was really good and seemed to be very educated one. And when cab arrived and I saw the driver, I was more surprised. He was wearing really good branded formals. Good personality. And a positive smile on his face. I got in the cab and shook his hand. 

Me:- Hello ! 

Driver:- Hello ! Nice to see you Sir. 

I smiled back. 

Driver:- Where do you want to go sir ? 

I gave him the address. And asked him. 

Do you drive cab as a part time Job or its your Own Cab ? 

He smiled and said..

Driver:- Sir, its mine. Today my driver is on leave. So I am driving it because mine is also off. 

Me:- Ohh ! Okay. I thought so. Because you are really good. And I thought, are all Ola drivers are same in chandhigarh or my luck is that good. 

Driver:- Laughed and said its my good luck that I just started my day with you. 

Me:- Smiled. What do you do ? 

Driver:- I am Mechanical Engineer. Working in Mahindra Swaraj.  Do you know the company ? 

Me:- Yes, they make Tractors. 

Driver:- Yes Sir. What do you do Sir ? 

Me:- I am also engineer but I don't have the degree. 

Driver:- Means ? 

Me:- I do repair all types of cameras and lenses, and I am doing it from past 20 years so I am an Engineer by experience so  I don't  have the degree. 

We both laughed. 

Driver:- you don't look like that old. 

Me:- Smiled. Yeah. I don't look like that old and I have started working at the age of 13. 

Driver:- Ohh! That's great Sir. 

Me:- Brother don't call me Sir please. Main aapke age group KA he hoon.

Driver:- I am just 24. 

Me:- Took a long breath. I am just 34. 

We Both laughed and my destination had arrived. So I did alight there. Paid him. Shook his hand. Exchanged business cards. 

What a pleasant experience I had . Just made my day. Just suppose if we have that kind of experience daily in cabs. I am not saying for engineer drivers. But if a driver behave like a descent one. Than it would be really good.
