I have been looking for a story in metro after last one, which was published a month ago but my search for it wasn't fulfil until today morning.
I have started my journey towards Mandihouse metro station on daily time and I found metro exceptionally empty than other days. Couple of seats were vacant and I found my favourite spot was also vacant so I sat there happily. Took out my iPod from the bag and as I was unscrambling my scramble hands free, I saw the girl almost of my age, in very simple makeup, no extra add-on. A light touch of Kajal and mild stroke of red lip paint were enough to her natural beauty. She was married but not a year or two old. The most important thing was that I found her face way too familiar. Just one look at her and I knew that I know her very well.
So I have started to remember that how I know her. In meantime I also found that she was also looking at me in intervals with same curiosity.
So my believe got more stronger that I know her already, I just need to remember how.
After some while I remembered that her name was Sunita we have studied together for five years. And I think at same time she also recognised me because the curiosity in her eyes was long gone and happy feeling of shock had replaced it.
But the problem is who would start the conversation ?
And I really suck at it. I can't do it. But I really wanted to do because it's been very long time. We were really good friend then. We had some wonderful memories together. But still the fear of getting it wrong has not been allowing me to start it.
And at other end she was also in the same puzzle, I could have read the expression on her face.
But still who starts question remains.
In this situation of
"PEHLE AAP, PEHLE AAP"
Mandihouse station came and I did start wrapping up myself towards exit gate and I thought Atleast look at her last time and when I look at her she wasn't there. I was surprised, I have tried to look here and there but couldn't see her. So in moment of despair I did alight from metro and walk towards heritage line.
And as people started to remove the area in front of me I found her standing in front of me and she was looking for me I think.
And as our eyes met we both smiled with feeling that here is our friend, and I said "SUNITA" she said "ARUN" to confirm and we both were in shock for couple of second, when we came to know that what exactly happened we both laughed and said sorry. And part our ways to our destinations.
